Wednesday, 16 December. 2009
Earlier this month, the All4Hospitality team and partners were busy assisting in the development of the catering facility for the Olympics in London 2012.
Delegates from around the London area were coached, developed and trained not only in the essential CIEH Level 2 Awards in Food Safety and Health & Safety but also the invaluable hands-on skills in:
- Customer Service & Sales
- Silver Service
- Using Knives
- Food & Beverage Service
- Food Safety and Health & Safety Audits and Risk Assessments
- Cleaning and Cleaning Schedules
- Restaurant Set-Up and Clearing
- Work Scheduling and Allocation of Tasks
From planning the menu to the purchasing and food knowledge trips to Spitalfields Market in the early hours of the morning, the delegates went on to cook and serve a fabulous three course meal to 35 dinner invited guests and are now gaining further experience at both Wembley Stadium and Leyton Orient Football Club.
Some of the delegates commented ....
"It was fantastic"
"VERY good and quantitive learning"
"I'm so looking forward to going to Wembley and working"
