The challenge is on for the hospitality industry ... which is being urged to get involved to help make 'quiztory' on 25 March 2010 and raise valuable funds for the UK charity - The Family Holiday Association.

All marketing materials (posters, balloons, press release template) are provided free-of-charge and the quiz will be emailed to the quiz organiser.  The quiz will also attempt to make internet history with the quiz being broadcast live over the internet on 25 March.

Taking part couldn't be simpler, register your venue at www.bigpubquiz.org ... and those raising more than £100 have the chance to win a luxury cruise!

Jacqulyn Bell from the Family Holiday Association said:

"We hope that venues all around the UK will take part in the World's Biggest Pub Quiz to raise funds to help give severely disadvantaged children a much-needed family break.  The families we work with are all coping with difficult circumstances, such as bereavement, family break-up, domestic violence and chronic illness - and most of them have never had a family break before.  In fact, the majority of children we work with have never been to the seaside before!  The World's Biggest Pub Quiz will demonstrate how communities can band together to break a world record, have a great night and raise funds for a very worthy cause."
