Russell Pendregaust

Having worked in the hospitality industry for 36 years (starting as a bottle boy at the age of 12), Russell has experienced every aspect of hospitality management and the running of commercial hospitality businesses ... from his early days bottling up in the family pub and learning the importance of point of sale ... through to a board level position for a group of diverse hotels.  This has included managing the sales & marketing and operations of budget hotels, red star hotels, country house hotels, conference hotels, town centre coaching houses and village inns.

 

During the past 20 years he has carried out relief hotel management assignments and has been involved with hotels that were awarded the RAC credit to the Industry Award, RAC Blue and Gold Ribbons, AA Red Stars, and the prestigious “Loo of the Year”.

 

In 1989, Russell was nominated for and awarded a coveted Caterer & Hotelkeeper Acorn Award and in his last appointment, he took a business turning over £3m pa and spending £250k on Sales & Marketing to a turnover of £4m pa and a Sales & Marketing spend of £125k.
